Dubai International Airport served over 87 million passengers in 2023, nearly all of them international travelers.
Explanation
Unlike Atlanta, which handles a huge volume of domestic flights, Dubai's traffic is almost entirely international. The airport serves as a key connecting point between Europe, Africa, and Asia thanks to its central geographic position. Emirates and flydubai operate the bulk of flights from DXB's two terminals.
