关于 Harry Reid International Airport
Harry Reid International Airport, formerly known as McCarran International Airport, serves the Las Vegas metropolitan area in Nevada and is one of the busiest airports in the United States. The airport was renamed in 2021 in honor of former U.S. Senator Harry Reid. LAS opened in 1942 and has grown into a facility handling over 57 million passengers annually, driven by the city's position as a global tourism and entertainment destination. The airport features two terminals, Terminal 1 with four concourses and Terminal 3 with two concourses, connected by a tram system. Southwest Airlines operates the largest share of flights from LAS, followed by Spirit Airlines, Frontier Airlines, and the major legacy carriers. The airport is located just one mile south of the Las Vegas Strip, making it one of the most conveniently situated airports relative to its city's primary attraction. Ground transportation includes the Las Vegas Monorail system, ride-sharing services, and bus routes. LAS is a predominantly origin-and-destination airport, with the vast majority of passengers either beginning or ending their trip in Las Vegas rather than connecting to other flights. The airport's route network is heavily weighted toward domestic leisure destinations, though it also offers nonstop international service to Mexico, Canada, Europe, and Asia.
