解説
KLM was established on October 7, 1919, and began scheduled services between Amsterdam and London in 1920. While Avianca (founded 1919) and Qantas (founded 1920) are similarly old, KLM is recognized as the oldest airline still operating under its founding name. The airline is now part of the Air France-KLM Group but retains its distinct brand and identity.
