Singapore Airlines operates the world's longest nonstop flight from Singapore to New York JFK, covering 15,349 kilometers in about 18 hours and 50 minutes.

The route, flown by the Airbus A350-900ULR (Ultra Long Range), was relaunched in 2018 after being suspended in 2013 due to high fuel costs with the older A340-500. The ultra-long-range variant carries extra fuel tanks and has a reduced passenger capacity of around 160 seats in a two-class configuration to save weight.
