Juancho E. Yrausquin Airport on the island of Saba in the Caribbean has the world's shortest commercial runway at just 400 meters.

The runway at Saba is flanked by cliffs on both ends, leaving zero room for overrun areas. Only STOL-capable aircraft such as the DHC-6 Twin Otter can operate there. Pilots require special certification to land at this airport, and operations are limited to daylight hours with favorable wind conditions.
