Der Noi Bai International Airport ist der größte Flughafen in Nordvietnam und das Haupttor zur vietnamesischen Hauptstadt Hanoi. Er liegt im Bezirk Soc Son, etwa 25 Kilometer nördlich des Stadtzentrums. HAN fertigt über 28 Millionen Passagiere jährlich über zwei Terminals ab. Terminal 2, 2014 eröffnet und von einem japanischen Konsortium entworfen, verfügt über ein geschwungenes Dach, das an eine traditionelle vietnamesische Ao Dai erinnern soll. Der Flughafen ist Drehkreuz für Vietnam Airlines, VietJet Air und Bamboo Airways. Der Bodentransport zum Stadtzentrum erfolgt hauptsächlich per Bus und Taxi in etwa 40 Minuten. HAN verfügt über zwei Start- und Landebahnen und bietet Verbindungen zu Zielen in Asien, Europa und Australien.
